Design Proofing Process
We offer a proofing service as standard for products that include a large amount of personalisation, e.g. invitation cards. This is to ensure that you have checked and are happy with the spelling, grammar and layout of your text before we move your order into production.
We recommend that you still double-check your personalisation before adding to the cart, even if you are expecting a proof, to avoid the need for multiple revisions and delays to your order.
Proof Format
You will be sent a digital preview of your design within 1 working day of placing your order. This will be sent to the email address you entered upon ordering.
The proof will be sent in secure PDF format and will not be directly editable by you. You will not be able to use this file to print the design yourself at home, or at any other printing facility.
Proof Approval
To approve your proof, we ask that you kindly respond directly to the original email containing your proof. This will ensure that your order is moved into production in a timely manner (sometimes multiple email threads can cause confusion and delays!)
Colours & Print Quality
Please be aware that design and image colours do vary slightly between screens and therefore may not print exactly as they appear on your own personal device screen.
Unfortunately, metallic foiling cannot be represented on a proof and therefore the design will be shown in black.
Suggested Lead Times
Please keep the proofing process in mind when ordering your stationery and signage. For example, we advise that you order your signage at least 3 weeks before your wedding to allow time for the previewing process and contingency time for delivery.
